Pumpkin Seed Baskets | Beautifully Handcrafted Natural Soap Giveaway!

I received a delightfully aromatic package in the mail this week! In fact it smelled so good, my 3-year-old asked to keep the envelope in her room to sniff when she goes to bed. ;-) Inside were three bars of beautifully handcrafted, natural soap from Pumpkin Seed Baskets, Patchouli Lavender (my favorite!), Rosemary Mint, and Fir Needle Cedar.

Pumpkin Seed Baskets is run by Peggy and her daughters. Peggy and her husband live on country acreage in western MN where they home-school their 5 children, raise chickens, and keep a dog and a cat. Their soap shop was started with the sole purpose of growing their family through adoption! Each penny made from selling their homemade wares goes to fund the home-coming of a new brother and/or sister from Uganda. 

They chose to adopt internationally because Uganda is one of the only countries willing to let "older" couples with larger-than-average families to adopt within a relatively short period of time.
